Repair & service

Most service calls start the same way: the house is not comfortable and you want a straight answer. We diagnose the system, tell you what we found, and give you the options before any parts go in.

What this covers

Repair work covers heating and cooling equipment that has stopped, is short-cycling, is making a noise it did not used to make, or is not keeping up. We service systems regardless of who installed them.

When homeowners call

Situations we see most.

  • The system runs but the house never reaches the temperature you set.
  • It turns on and off far more often than it used to.
  • There is a new noise, smell or water around the equipment.
  • A breaker trips when the system starts.
  • Airflow from the vents has dropped off.

A yearly check on each side of the system — heating before the cold months, cooling before the warm ones — is the usual rhythm for residential equipment. Filters generally need attention more often than that, depending on the filter and the house.
